Zaffer, Javid led anti-election rally in Burzhama Hazrtabal
Welcomed statement of Pakistan foreign office spokesman
Srinagar, Apr 25 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir salvation movement chairman, Zaffer Akbar Bhat and Liberation Front (H) Chairman Javid Ahmad Mir today led an anti-election rally in Burzhama Hazrtabal after Friday prayers. Chanting pro-freedom and anti-election slogans, hundreds of people including youth took part in the rally that started from Burzahama chowk to martyrs grave yard.
According to a statement issued to KNS, on the occasion, Leaders paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of Kashmir and pledged to fight till the mission of martyrs- who sacrificed their precious lives, reaches to its logical conclusion.
Addressing the gathering Zaffer Akbar Bhat and Javid Ahmad Mir welcomed the recent statement of Pakistan Foreign office Spokesman in which she had said that elections can’t be substitute to right to self determination’.
Pitching for early peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, Leaders said that Kashmir conflict was the main reason behind the India and Pakistan confrontation. They said that issue of Kashmir just like a volcano in South Aisan region as the countries involved in conflict are nuclear armed countries which in case of war can destroy the whole region.
Zaffer Akbar said that since 1947 India has ever since tried to bifurcate the kashmiri nation through the sham polls just to justify the illegal occupation over the state, however the Indian election drama needs to be rejected like the people of south reject it so that India’s policies of sabotaging Kashmir freedom movement gets exposed.
He said that people of Jammu and Kashmir haven’t laid down the sacrifices for the electing and collapsing any one’s so called government but people have laid down the sacrifices for the resolution of Kashmir issue.
Javid Ahmad Mir pledged to continue the martyr’s mission till it reaches to its logical conclusion. “Indian is trying its best since 1947 to muzzle the ongoing freedom struggle by military might and is trying to justify its illegal occupation by conduction elections here; however people have not allowed India to get success in their designs.” Mir said, adding international community must fulfill its responsibility as the people are laying down the sacrifices since last over six decades now. Leaders distributed anti-election literature among the people and requested them to stay away from the so-called election. Senior leaders of JKSM, Farooq Ahmed, Naseer Ahmed, Shafi Kashmiri,Beigh aijaz, Manzoor Ahmed also accompanied the senior APHC leaders. (KNS
