Zaffar address in chadoora budgam

Srinagar, Aug 31: APHC (M) public relations chief Zaffer Akbar Bhat today urged United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to intervene and help in ending the skirmishes along the Line of Control, saying that war is no solution to Kashmir issue.
He in his party statement issued today appealed both the countries to start meaningful dialogue for the resolution of Kashmir issue.
“Zaffer Akbar Bhat accompanied by his party activists visited border areas of tehsil Chadoora today and while addressing various gatherings there, Zaffer paid glowing tributes to all those civilians who lost their precious lives due to the firing and shelling on LoC. Hesaid that skirmishs on the border isn’t the issue but Kashmir is the issue that needs to be resolved on humanitarian grounds,”  statement quoting Zafar said.
“At a time when LoC of Kashmir is observed by United Nations Military Observer Group and the activities on the border are  being monitored by high definition cameras, it is not difficult  to held a fair probe into the LOC killings,” statement said.
Zafar in his statement demanded an international probe into the LoC killings and said that  the skirmishes have  endangered the peace in whole of South Asia.
He appealed UN military group to help in escalating the tension.
Zafar in his statement appealed United Nations to press India and Pakistan for holding talks in order to resolve Kashmir resolution peacefully.
Zaffer added that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have laid their lives for a cause and the sacrifices will not be allowed to go waste.
Stressing upon the demilitarization of Jammu and Kashmir, Zaffer  in the statement said that safety of the people in Jammu and Kashmir can be guaranteed only after the demilitarization of the State.
