Zaffer Akbar bhat visited several areas of Pulwama
Srinagar, January 16:
Continuing mass contact program of All Parties Hurriyet Conference
(APHC), its senior leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir
Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt, today, visited several
areas of Pulwama district including Jandwal, Arihal, Bandzoo, tahab,
and interacted with a number of delegations. Zafar Akbar Butt
accompanied by party leaders including Showket Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad, and
Beigh Aijaz, addressing gatherings in the area said that Kashmir was
an internationally acknowledged and accepted dispute which needed to
be resolved as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people which could only
guarantee peace in the region.
Zaffer Akbar accompanied by senior leaders, Molvi Rashid and Beigh
Aijaz during the visit to different areas of the district visited the
family of sixteen years old Roman Amin Ganie at Jandwal Pulwama who
despite passage of months time continued to remain untraced. Zaffer
condemned the failure of state authorities including Delhi and state
police in tracing the teenage Kashmiri boy who mysteriously went
missing on November 20 in Delhi. He said that he was always of the
opinion that Kashmiri labors, businessmen and especially the students
weren’t safe in any other state of India.
Zaffer expressed solidarity with the family and appealed authorities
to trace the missing boy on humanitarian grounds as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, on the directions of Party Chairman, Zaffer Akbar Bhat, a
high level delegation of Jammu and Kashmir salvation movement
comprising Molvi Mohd Rafiq, Adnan Nadvi, Farooq Ahmad and Javaid
Ahmad visited dooru and Panzleth area of Sopore and paid glowing
tributes to the youths who are martyred by Indian troops during a
siege and search operation in the area.
Party chairman also paid tributes to Martyred youths and reaffirmed to
continue the ongoing freedom struggle peacefully till Kashmir gets
resolved as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
Zaffer Akbar Bhat also expressed deep sarrow and grief over the sad
demise Veteran Journalist, Raja Mohid-u-Din’s father Abdul Rehman Bhat
who passed away today after brief illness. He expressed sympathy with
bereaved family of deceased and with his media houses
