ction was presided over by APHC AJK chapter leader and JKSM vice Chairman, Tufail Altaf Bhat and was attended by party activists and Kashmiri journalists. The speakers paid glowing tributes to the Kashmiri martyrs and reaffirmed the pledge to continue the liberation struggle till it reaches its logical end. They strongly condemned the continued human rights violations by Indian troops and re-arrest of senior APHC leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah and appealed to the international human rights organizations to take serious notice of these abuses. Referring to the Pakistan-India dialogue process, the speakers maintained that the centrality of the Kashmir dispute should be acknowledged in dialogue process. Tufail Altaf Bhat while appealing to the world community to exert pressure on India to stop bloodshed of Kashmiris and also help the people of Kashmir in resolving the Kashmir dispute according to Kashmiris’ aspirations urged India to release all Kashmiri prisoners including senior Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan languishing in different jails under black law, Public Safety Act. He stressed the need to find a just solution of the dispute through peaceful means of negotiations involving Pakistan, India and the genuine leadership of Kashmiris. On the occasion the other speakers expressed confidence that the Kashmiris would never abandon Kashmiri martyrs’ mission.
