Zaffar Akber Bhat Addressing to Press Conference at Hotel Primer Residency Road Jammu

The APHC senior leader and JK Salvation Movement Chairman Mr. Zaffar Akber Bhat during his weeks long extraordinary organizational Jammu province tour, besides communicating the message of restoration of peace and protection of Human Rights throughout the whole of the state, has appreciated the peace talks move between India and Pakistan as an encouraging step,in a press conference, in association with Chairman Peoples Movement Mr Ghulam Mohmmad Mir ,today the 24th feb 2010 ,in hotel Primer residency road Jammu . -Welcoming the initiative, the chairman has made it crystal clear that the representative leadership of APHC is the only real and the basic forum for the peaceful honorable settlement of the longest pending issue of Kashmir.-Making the fact further clear the chairman has said that the dedicated meaningful triparte dialogue between India / Pakistan and HURRIYAT leadership alone can serve the purpose of restoration of peace in subcontinent,therefore ,any such DAILOGUE PROCESS can not achive the desired target of durable peace and stability in the region without the dedicated participation of the kashmiri people and the Leaders representing them in a peaceful atmosphere in the ongoing struggle . --The chairman, further expressing the deepest expectations attached to the DAILOGUE PROCESS has recorded the historical background of Kashmir in these words as :- " The unity of all sections of the general public of the state is itself a well established history since centuries. Any effort by any circle aimed at tarnishing this historical established brotherhood background will not be allowed tolerated or compromised"--"Kashmiris are peace lovers in nature, as is confirmed by the history also" The chairman added.--The chairman displeased with the admistrative policy has strongly condemned the arrest and detention of senior HURRIYAT leader Shabir Ahmad Shah. " The detained leader has not been even shifted to any suitable hospital for proper medical treatment due to some consequential ailments developed during detention period"
--The chairman in association with the representative of peoples movement Mr.Mohd Saleem , representative of Awami Action Committee Mr.Abdul Gani and Javaid Ahmad wani further visited KORTBILWAL, HEERANAGAR AND UDHAMPUR jails of jammu province. The statement reads that these detenues are being even deprived of their legal rights of medical and other basic facilities which he termed as unconstitutional and undemocratic.--The statement further reveals that the relatives of Kortbalwal jail Break case deteneus has complained that the detention period of these detunes has expired. These is no other similiar or such natured case against them at all. Inspite of all that they are not being released despite several requests.--The chairman taking serious note of the harassing presence of forces pressures on the ground in POONCH, RAJOURI, KISHTWAR, DODA hilly areas states that the patience of the peaceful public has been put to such tests of unwarranted harassment.--The chairman has demanded immediate unconditional release of all detained APHC leaders, further appealing the peace loving world community for their dedicated efforts for protection against the Human Rights Violation by using their influence upon the central and state Govt's
