Srinagar, Dec 15,Zaffar hails Pak
gov; and OIC during its mass contact programme in Srinagar and aware about
present Kashmir situation .
APHCLeader and
chairman Salvation movement Zaffar akber Bhat Welcoming the
resolution adopted by Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding the
peaceful resolution of Jammu and KashmirState said that Indian approach in this
regard was contrary to political and historical facts. He also hailed the fresh
efforts made by Govt; of Pak and PM Jenab Nawaz Sharief by himself for
condusive atmosphere between Indo Pak countries to resolve all pending issue
including Kashmir Issue.
Zaffar akber while addressing corner
meetings at Chanpora,Nowgam,wanbal etc.of Civil lines Srinagar said the OIC stand regarding Kashmir issue as
an international dispute was right. He said OIC has always advocated and worked
for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue, adding, the stand of OIC
regarding Kashmir issue has always reflected the political and historical
realities attached to the dispute.
He condemned India’s
objection to the OIC resolution as unrealistic. “Indian viewpoint and rhetoric
that Kashmir is its integral part is based on their obstinate approach. It
cannot change historical facts,” bhat added.
The APHC leader emphasized
that Kashmir was recognized by the international community as dispute and even
India was a witness to the UN resolutions on Kashmir. He pointed out that
Indian stand on Kashmir dispute was now being treated as outdated and had
nothing to do with reality. “Had Kashmir been integral part of India, it would
not have been on UN agenda, nor more than 7 lakh troops would have
been send to a small JK state for
illegal occupation with the help of draconian laws to suppress the common
people of Kashmir and their self-determination voice by force, said Zaffar.
On Monday 16th
dec,2013 glowing tributes will be paid to prominent and Islamic scholar Martyr
GM MIR(Shamsul Haq) on his 20th anniversary and other martyrs of
Kashmir at Martyrs centre graveyard Eidgah
Srinagar will start at 11 am. Insha ullah. Prominent resistance leaders will
participate the function .said Zaffar akber Bhat.
