Authorities trying to cover up the Shopian tragedy
APHC leader and Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zaffar Akbar Bhat has said that the authorities were trying to shield the culprits of Shopian incident and that is why they are handing over it to India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
He viewed that the authorities were trying to mislead and hoodwinking the people and hushing up the factual position about the Shopian case.
Bhat while urging India to hold referendum in Kashmir described the Indian Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh’s remarks that the recent so-called elections in Jammu and Kashmir showed that the liberation ideology had no place here as unrealistic and ridiculous.
