Zaffer condemns arrest
of monomers, ban on muharam processions .Will continue efforts for unity among
Shia Sunni under the command of Mirwaiz Umer Farooq.
Srinagar, November 17:
Senior APHC leader and Jammu Kashmir salvation movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar
bhat today while addressing the Muhram procession taken out by Anjuman Sharee
Sheiyan, condemned using of brute force on monomers and banning muharam
procession which have age’s old history.
Muharam procession was
led by president Anjuman Sharee Sheiyan, Sayed Aga Hussan Badgami. Adressing
the procession Zaffer paid glowing tributes to Karbala Martyrs and said that
banning muharam processions and using brute force on monomers is direct
interference into the religion and against the democracy.
He said that such kind
of interference into religious matters will not keep Muslims at bay neither
they end the love they have the martyrs of Karbala.
He said that we will
continue efforts for unity among all Kashmiri muslim uner the command of
Mirwaiz Dr. Umer Farooq and thanked Shai-Sunni coordination committee and sr.
members of Majlis Ithad including Mir Mushtaq ul Haq for keeping decades old
brotherhood alive and thwarting the evil designs of those who are hell bent
upon to divide muslim Ummah.
Zaffar said the Martyrs of Karbla prefer to Martyrdom
instead of surrender before oppressive Forces for Islam and right. In Kashmir
thousands people have rendered sacrifices for right to self determination amd
did not surrender before Indian suppressive Forces.
