house arrest condemned,/ Moral obligation of world powers including British
Govt; who left unresolved, to resolve kasmir issue.
Srinagar, October 27:
Police on Satarday evening put senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir
salvation movement chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat under house arrest and restricted
his political activities ahead of 27 October that was observed as a black day
by the people of the state, Jammu and Kashmir.
Salvation movement
spokesman condemned the police action and said that India can’t get success in
silencing the freedom movement among the people neither they can back hold the
leadership.
On the eve of Kashmir
black day, Salvation movement chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat said that on 27th of
October in 1947 Indian army illegally invaded the state and since worst kind of
human rights violations by the hands of Indian army troops continue to take
place.
He said international
organization like United Nations have maintained a silence over the issue due
which questions are being over the integrity off such institutions. He said
that still peaceful population of the state have kept a hope with these international
institutions and international comminuty including British Govt; who left
unresolved k issu, so they should play their role as the Kashmiri can use their
birth right ‘right to self determination’ guaranteed by the
resolutions passed in United Nations.
Zaffer said that since
27th October 1947 people of the state besides India’s
oppressive policies , killing innocents without any reason, putting Kashmiri
youths, leadership into jails, etc people continue to fight politically against
this Indian military aggression that they will continue till Kashmir gets
freedom.
He said that India
can’t muzzle the freedom movement by its powerful military might as the people
of the state are dedicated towards the movement.
Meanwhile on the
direction of Zaffar akber Bhat JKSM delegation headed by Adnan salfi and Molvi
Mohmmad Rafiq participated in nimazi jinaza of Shaheed Abbas Reshi and visited
his residenc at Alshipora Shopian and expressed solidarity with the family
Reshi who was martyred by Indian troops yesterday.
