Srinagar, October 13: Continuing with APHC’s (M) mass contact program, senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman (JKSM) Zaffer Akbar Bhat today visited various areas of Budgam including Sanoor Kalipora, Wadwan, and Suibugh and met with the families of those ‘who have offered their loves ones for the Kashmir struggle’, JKSM press statement issued today said.
“During the visit, families of deceased persons and youth conveyed their messages and suggestions to the leader and appealed the Hurriyat  leadership to continue the mission of the sons of the soil who have laid down their lives for Kashmir,” statement added.
Zaffer Akbar expressed solidarity with the families and appealed them not to lose heart, saying that, “Not a single drop of blood of their loved ones will be allowed to go waste.”
He told families that the separatist leadership is committed to continue the struggle till Kashmiris get their rights and the sacrifices of our men, due to which Kashmir issue echoed on international level, will not be allowed to go waste.
“Kashmir struggle belongs to each and every individual of the State, so primarily it is every one’s duty to safe guard the  mission; however, leadership has to shoulder the major responsibility,” he said.
Zaffer added that India and Pakistan have to endorse the role of our people who have laid down their lives before moving ahead on Kashmir resolution and two countries have to respect the aspirations and sentiments of the common people.
Expressing satisfaction over the release of Muslim League leader Mustaq-ul-Islam, Zaffer demanded unconditional release of all political leaders and prisoners especially the youths before Eid so that they can celebrate Eid with their families
