Nov 09: APHC Public relation head Zaffar Akber Bhat and chairman salvation movement on the eve
of world humand rights day December,10
condemned the human right violation at the hands of Indian armed forces in
Kashmir. Zaffar Akber bhat said that worst kind of human right violation is continuing
at the hands of Indian Troops in Kashmir. Demilitarization and revocation of
black laws from the state of J&K is imperative for peace, stability in
region and safeguard for people of Kashmir. He said that they will continue its
protest to stop human rights violation in Kashmir, they also said that thousands kashmiris have been
forcibly disappeared and there are hundreds unidentified mass graves in Kashmir
and victimize families are still waiting for their loves one who have been
subjected to enforced disappeared
Hurriyat
week HR aimed to divert the attention of the international community including
India towards the gross rights violation committed by Indian forces in the
state of Jammu and Kashmir. The world community should shun the Double standard
as far as Kashmir dispute and their violations are concerned.
Zaffer
stressed that Kashmir dispute was more of a human issue than a political one.
He, however, said the so called claimants of democracy were the biggest
violators of human and moral values in Kashmir. He said the people can never
forget the bloody massacres and heart-wrenching incidents including mass rape,
which have taken place in Kashmir. Referring to freedom struggle, he said India
always tried to suppress the movement with force and terror

leader said the world was changing, but Kashmir was being converted to a
restricted zone where even relations were divided by the bloody man made
borders. They said the emotions and aspirations of Kashmiris can’t be
suppressed by force, adding, this fact has been accepted by the international
community as well.
Zaffar
also said that the main cause of trust
deficit between India and Pakistan was lingering Kashmir issue. They said
Hurriyat wants to make it clear to the Government of India that they should not
keep their own people in dark or speak lie to them regarding Kashmir issue. He
said the truth was that Kashmiris were demanding the right to
self-determination as promised by the Indian leadership with them.
