Srinagar, Sep 16: Soon after being released from house detention, senior Hurriyat Conference (M) leader and Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman, Zaffer Akbar Bhat today visited several hospitals including SKIMS and expressed solidarity with the injured persons, JKSM statement issued today said.
The statement also condemned the slapping of PSA on ‘city student’.
“Bhat visited several hospitals and residences of detained youth and expressed solidarity with the families of the injured persons. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured persons. At SKIMS, party chairman met the family of Iqbal Nazir Sheikh, a resident of Macheva who received bullet injuries in both legs on 7th of this month, hours before Zubin Mehta’s musical concert when troops opened fire on him and targeted him without any reason in the city,” statement said.
