Zaffer Akbar Bhat on Friday expressed concern over the continued
detention of hundreds of Kashmiri youth including Dr Muhammad Qasim Faktoo,
Muhammad Ayoub Dar, Misbah Nisar, Masrat Aalam Bhat, Muzaffer Dar, Shakeel Bhat
and Nazir Ahmad, and demanded their immediate release.
Zaffer also expressed its solidarity with Sheikh Imran and Sheikh Farhat who are on hunger strike inside the Kolkata Jail.
In a statement, he criticized the state authorities for failure to recover the teenaged Kashmiri boy who got missing in Delhi in November 2013.
Zaffer has appealed to the civil society and human rights institutions to play their role in tracing the missing Pulwama boy on humanitarian grounds
