Zaffer, Mir visits North Kashmir, pay tributes to martyrs
Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS): Senior leader Hurriyat Conference (M) leader, and Jammu Kashmir salvation movement Chairman, Zaffer Akbar Bhat, who also heads the public relation cell of the forum today along Javid Ahmad Mir, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, today visited several areas of Handwara and Kupwara including Panzla Rafiabad and paid glowing tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the Kashmir freedom struggle and pledged to continue the ongoing movement till it reaches to its logical conclusion.
Leaders were accompanied by party activists including Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Farooq ahmed, Javed ahmed, Mushtaq, Molvi Rashid, and shafi kashmiri. The delegation leaders senior leaders Zaffer Akbar Bhat and Javaid Ahmad Mir visited Handwara,kulangam,panzla,tregpora areas of North Kashmir
At Panzla Rafiabad were three dead bodies of yout, martyred by Indian troops during a siege and search operation in Sopore, have been are buried by local police and army, locals expressed their anguish before the APHC leaders and said that it seems it was fake encounter that is the reason they didn’t handed over their dead bodied to their guardians.
APHC leaders besides paying tributes to the martyred youth demanded a high level probe through any international crime tribunal and appealed international human rights organizations to take a serious note of the alleged ‘Rafiabad fake encounter’.
APHC leaders said that before three innocent kashmiris of nearby area of Nadihal Rafiabad  were killed in  machil fake encounter ,later on Army accepted the fact the the culprits behind the fake machil encounter were punished by army court marshal.
Leaders also remembered Handwara massacre, which took place on January 25, in 1990 when troops of BSF opened fire on a peaceful protest that was heading towards Handwara Chowk resulting martyrdom of 25 innocent Kashmiris.
They expressed concern over the fact that despite passage of over 23 years culprits behind this massacre are roaming free and victims of Kashmir continue to wait for justice. They said that besides India’s foul claims justice continues to be the first causality of India’s oppression 
Leaders said that people of Jammu and Kashmir have given uncounted sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and Kashmiri nation will continue its struggle till the movement reaches to its logical conclusion. (KNS)
